Lighthouse Project Management was set up when its founders, with several decades of combined experience running projects for large corporations, discovered the need for specific project management skills and resources in small to medium sized companies.
A high proportion of projects in SMEs do not run anywhere near as well as intended, incurring timing and expensive cost over-runs, with internal communication regularly at cross-purposes causing un-necessary friction, and the end result not what was expected. If this has happened to you, you are far from alone.
Project Management is a dedicated skill
Running projects is - like for example, design and accountancy - a professional skill in its own right. Yet small and medium companies have little or no formal training in it, have no external guidance and support and no access to professional templates or systems.
Project Management is therefore typically run internally by people trained in completely different skills who soldier on as best they can, lacking the necessary skill set or experience for the most successful outcome. Lighthouse Project Management is here to break that cycle.
